Have Your Say: Ireland’s Nature Restoration Plan

Ireland is developing its first Nature Restoration Plan in response to the new EU Nature Restoration Law. The National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) has launched RestoreNature.ie to ensure everyone—communities, landowners, and stakeholders—can have their say.

Why It Matters

The Plan will set out how Ireland restores ecosystems, supports biodiversity, and builds resilience to climate change. The process is being guided by an Independent Advisory Committee, supported by government, and shaped through nationwide engagement. (gov.ie)
